In San Francisco, a lawsuit was filed to shut down websites enabling the generation of AI-generated nudes of women and girls. Additionally, the messaging app Telegram came under scrutiny for the alleged distribution of child sexual abuse images, leading to charges against the platform’s founder and CEO, Pavel Durov. This heightened accountability in the tech industry signifies a shift towards holding individuals responsible for the misuse of technology.
